WHAT IS IT?
A granulated sugar made from the sap of flower buds from the coconut palm.
WHAT MAKES IT HEALTH-IER?
It’s lower on the GI scale than table sugar – it scores a 35, whereas table sugar scores around 60. So there’s less of a sugar crash! Plus, it’s said to be one of the most sustainably made sweeteners in the world. So that’s a bonus.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Coconut sugar can be used 1:1 with regular sugar in baking, cooking, or whatever else you want. I highly recommend it.
