WHAT IS IT?
Kimchi is a Korean dish made of fermented vegetables and seasonings, usually made with a cabbage base.
WHAT MAKES IT HEALTH-IER?
Kimchi is full of vitamins A, B and C. Plus, since it’s fermented, it’s full of healthy bacteria which aids in digestion and can help make your stomach happier. (Which is great because an estimated 80-90 percent of serotonin is made in the lining of your stomach!)
HOW DO I USE IT?
It has a really strong, bitter taste that not everyone will love, but you may grow to love it. Try adding a tablespoon or so to your favorite foods – soups, scrambled eggs, baked potatoes, etc.
