Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cut avocado in half, remove pit, and place the avocado cut side down directly onto the grill.
Grill for about 5 minutes, or until there are nice char marks on your avocado.
Remove avocado from the grill and top each half with red onion, cilantro, garlic flakes, sea salt, and pepper. Squeeze lime juice over each half.
Enjoy with chips. EAT UP.
