Roasted Tomato Turkey Burgers

These roasted tomato turkey burgers are juicy and packed with fresh herbs, roasted tomatoes, and caramelized onions! A surefire hit with the family.

Roasted Tomato Turkey Burger

  • 2 lb Ground Turkey 93% lean
  • 1 Onion Caramelized
  • ½ bunch Parsley Chopped
  • 2 Rosemary Sprigs Picked and Chopped
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Peeled, Chopped
  • ¼ cup Ryan's Roasted Tomatoes Chopped, plus more for serving
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Salt plus more to taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 6 Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices
  • 1-2 tbsp High Heat Cooking Oil

For Serving

  • 6 buns toasted
  • butter lettuce
  • 1 cup Ryan's Roasted Tomatoes
  • red onion slices


  1. Heat oven to 350℉
  2. Combine all ingredients, except cooking oil and cheese, in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.
  4. Form into 6 even portions, and place on a parchment lined sheet tray.
  5. Heat a large cast iron pan over medium heat. Add cooking oil.

  6. Distribute turkey burgers in pan, pressing into rounds. Season with extra salt to taste.

  7. After 2-3 minutes, flip each pattie and season with salt to taste. Transfer cast iron pan to oven.

  8. Cook the burgers to an internal temperature of 165℉ (about 8 minutes) and remove from the oven.

  9. Top each burger with cheese slices and return to the oven for about 1-2 minutes, or until melted.

  10. Remove burgers from oven and assemble with buns, lettuce, Ryan's Roasted Tomatoes, and red onion.

* These turkey burgers freeze very well, so if you only want to cook a few - wrap the remaining uncooked patties in plastic wrap and freeze. Allow to thaw before cooking.
